What do we do?

Mainer is a sustainability consultancy with a passion for the built environment. We believe that buildings have a vital role in supporting those who inhabit their spaces, and in safeguarding a common future. We aim to inspire and support businesses and organisations with the strategies, insights and actions to become more meaningful for their customers, communities, and the environment.

We work with clients who share our values across a range of sectors from commercial property development, retail and leisure, public sector, education, healthcare and residential.

With offices in Manchester and Oxfordshire, no matter where you or your property is in the UK, our team of sustainability consultants is here to support you.

  • We assess the environmental impact of buildings and occupant wellbeing.

  • We assess buildings that promote health and wellbeing.

  • We assess the environmental impact of products, buildings, and processes from cradle to grave.

  • We create, verify, and publish Environmental Product Declarations.

  • We advise businesses on how to integrate ESG principles into their operations.

  • We created a web app to enhance supply chain engagement and centralise data collection to help businesses measure and manage their indirect emissions.

  • We prepare planning statements that demonstrate the sustainability credentials of proposed developments.
