Mainer Associates was appointed by TanRo Ltd to deliver end-to-end sustainability consultancy for the new DPD distribution centre in Crawley. The project forms part of DPD’s continued expansion, with sustainability and operational efficiency at its core.

Our role includes BREEAM New Construction Assessment, Accredited Professional support, Life Cycle Assessment and Costing, Climate Change Adaptation Assessment, Indoor Air Quality Plan, and Building User Guide.

The new cross-docked warehouse, including two-storey office space, will total 63,798 ft². Designed to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and an EPC A rating, the long, linear building will feature 13 dock-level doors and level-access doors for van deliveries. Site infrastructure includes parking for 125 cars, 102 vans, and 12 HGVs, with two new access points off Hydehurst Lane to serve the facility.
