Mainer Associates was appointed by Mason Clark Associates to support Calderdale Council with the post-construction BREEAM Refurbishment & Fit-Out Assessment for the Luddenden SEND facility, achieving a BREEAM ‘Good’ rating.

Completed on time and within budget in January 2021, the project expanded provision for Wood Bank Special School, delivering a sustainable, inclusive learning environment for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Despite the challenges of COVID-19, the facility has been praised by both the Council and the school for its accessible, high-quality design.
